U12 Boys: Bruddy Burrows Tournament

Team on the day, Back Row (LtoR): Marc Beatty, Eoin Cleary, John O’Sullivan, Nathan Tierney, Oisin Hogan, Josh Gibson. Front Row (Lto R): Tadhg Gavin, Ronan Jennings, Daire Sherlock, Dara Houlihan, Roan Creaven.

Our U12 Boys team had their first away trip wearing the club colours when they made the journey to Tralee to participate in the St Brendan’s Basketball Club Bruddy Burrows U12 Tournament on Saturday 2nd December 2017.

The lads played 4 games over the course of the day facing Maree, Tralee Imperials, St. Brendan’s & TK Bobcats. Despite not winning any game the lads improved considerably over the 4 games and if they continue to work hard in training the results in tournaments like this will surely follow.

Overall a great day with loads of learning, many thanks to all those that travelled down with the team.

The team have played 3 games in the local league and have had two good wins in solid performances, showing improvement in every game

They have also had two Local Blitzes;
Saturday 4h November playing Annaghdown, Claregalway & the Moycullen U11 team.
Saturday 16th December playing Corrib, Annaghdown & the Moycullen U11 team.
