With 3 Men’s teams in the National Cup semi-finals it took some tricky scheduling for Basketball Ireland. Now the 3 teams play Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th in the Mardyke in Cork. The weekend will be a feast of basketball with all the National Cup semi-finals from U18 to Premier League for men and women played over two venues. The Under 18 Boys face Cork side Fr Matthews at 10.00am on Saturday morning with the Under 20’s meeting Neptune at 4 that afternoon. The following day SSE Airtricity Moycullen meet fellow Galwegians Titans at 1.00pm.

Galway women’s team NUIG Mystics also have a semi-final against Portlaoise Panthers at 11.00 on Sunday morning in the Parochial Hall.
