Moycullen U14 Boys gained their second piece of silverware this season adding the Galway U14 cup to the Cork County Board title they won some weeks back. The final score of 53-37 was an accurate reflection of the game with Moycullen’s greater depth of talent again making the difference. Trailing 12-17 at the end of the first thanks to the 10 points from an imposing Daniel Aramo, Moycullen completely dominated the second quarter and led at half time by 17 points.

Another strong performance in the third left the boys in a very comfortable position and they coasted home to reprise the achievement of last year’s U14 team. Captain Mairtin O’Conghaile accepted the cup on behalf of his team mates and paid tribute to a fine Maree team, coach Dylan Cunningham & his colleagues.
