Cumann Cispheile Mhaigh Cuilinn will officially launch the 2026/27 basketball season on Friday, 21 August at Wildlands, Maigh Cuilinn.

The season launch will be a special evening for members from across the club to come together ahead of the return of basketball. It will also give us an opportunity to celebrate the many achievements of the 2025/26 season and recognise the players, teams and memorable moments that made it such an enjoyable year.

The evening will begin with a pizza party from 6.00pm. Members are invited to come along, enjoy a slice and catch up with teammates, coaches, volunteers and friends from across our youth, women’s and men’s sections.

The awards ceremony and official season launch will begin at approximately 6.30pm. Awards will be presented to players from the 2025/26 season, with fun games and prizes also planned throughout the evening.

This event is about celebrating what we achieved together last season while looking forward to the opportunities and excitement of the year ahead. It will also be a chance to acknowledge the work of our players, coaches, committee members, parents, supporters and volunteers, whose commitment keeps basketball thriving in Maigh Cuilinn.

All club members are welcome.

We look forward to seeing everyone there as we celebrate the past season and launch another exciting year of basketball in Maigh Cuilinn.
