The U10s girls have come on leaps and bounds this past season with the help from fantastic coaches Fionn and Mary. Each week, they have been focusing on improving key skills from ball handling, layups, shooting and footwork.  They also took part in various Blitzes against Corrib and a mixed Blitz with the U10 Moycullen Boys at the Jes, which gave them an opportunity to really display their skills and practice teamwork.

A tournament hosted by Titans at the Jes in January was one of the season’s highlights, where they showcased their abilities against Titans, Maree and ClareGalway. It was a great opportunity for our girls as they got to play full court matches and their fantastic cheerleading capabilities and support for one another didn’t go unnoticed, they showed real team spirit that day.

Their confidence as players has increased tenfold and they really gelled together as a team this past season, while having fun and enjoying the sport.

The girls continue to practice with the help of Junior NBA and basketball Ireland at home challenges. They can’t wait to return for the next season!
