We are running a supporters bus to the U20 Hula Hoops National Cup Final on Sunday 28th January.
For the 3rd time in the clubs history we have a team competing in the Men’s National Cup Final and hopefully this years team will be able to match their club mates feats and win the Cup for the 3rd time.
Having two home games in the initial stages of the Cup helped what was very much a new look team settle and get used to each other. In the 2nd round, the lads defeated Maree with a superb all round team performance 77-66. They followed this up with a similar great team performance in defeating Dublin Lions 79-70 in the quarter-finals.
The semi-final was played on Saturday 6th January in Neptune when the lads put on a clinic of basketball in dethroning the reigning U20 Cup Champions by a whopping 49 points; 106-57.
With preparations well & truly underway, we’re hoping that the team can make it another day to remember and claim the Hula Hoops U20 National Cup for 2018.
To secure your place on the bus, please contact Nollaig Cunningham on 087 0518 519, by Thursday evening 25th January.
