Wednesday saw the club hosting their Annual Awards Night in the Forge, Moycullen. It’s the last gathering the club has and signals the end of what was another great this season.
This years Awards Night was made extra special as we had our U13 team present who had just returned from Ardres after competing in the Torunoi International Henri Seux for the 19th time as a club.
We also had 15 players who are on International Squads & Teams during the year which is a fantastic achievement for the those players, their parents & families and the club as a whole. Of those 15, 7 are traveling with their respective teams to compete at the European Championships for Ireland during the summer.

Addressing the large crowd in attendance Youth Section Chairperson Barry Connaire emphasised that while the club was giving out individual awards that obviously basketball is a team game & the night was a celebration of the hard work that all the players, coaches & parents had put in during the year.
We consistently punch way above our weight both locally, nationally & internationally and that was very much down to everyone present and all of the players & coaches in particular.
