Catherine Connaire (U18 girls) was presented with the Galway Bay FM 2015 award for Basketball
at a ceremony in the Loughrea Hotel & Spa just prior to Christmas. Her selection for the
Ireland U18 Girls in Bucharest last July and her good form with the NUIG Mystics who top Division
one of the National Women’s Basketball league were cited as the reasons for the award.
