Moycullen takes 3 Basketball Ireland Annual Awards

A very successful year for the club was marked by Moycullen receiving 3 awards in Basketball Ireland’s Annual Awards. Paul Kelly won the Under 14 Boys Player of the Year after great performances in the team’s march to the All Ireland Club Championship (AICC) title. In addition, the club were awarded the award for Men’s Underage Coaching. This is an acknowledgement of the great work current and past coaches have put into the club, the coaching development initiatives the club have invested in, and the contribution Technical Director Salva Camps has made over the last two years. Salva was also awarded Men’s Division 1 Coach of the year having led the club to a first ever National League title and the Cup Final.

The underage success is an acknowledgement of an incredible year in boys competitions where we were U20 National Cup Champions, U18 National Cup Semi-Finalists, U17 Billy Kelly Champions,  Ranked 5th in U16  AICC,  U14 AICC & Cork County Board, Emmett Neville Champions.
