The first of the 3on3 blitzes of the season went ahead in Killanin last Sunday (30 Nov 2014). Technical Director Salva Camps and Club Development Officer Gerald Lyons oversaw 3 hours of fun and competitive basketball. Over 60 girls and boys between Under 9 and Under 12 took part in the SSE Airtricity supported event.  They were ably assisted by John Hackett (U17) and members of the National League Division 1 squad Dylan Cunningham, James Loughnane, and Nollaig Cunningham. Great commitment from the senior players who had won a demanding game against Maree the evening before.

Youth coaches Fionnuala Ni Chualain, Sarah Spellacy, John Jennings, Barry O’Sullivan and Mike Hogan were among the many adults in attendance. Thanks as well to the other club officers who helped out. Here are a few pictures but you can see more under the Photos tab under SSE Airtricity 3on3 2014.
