Presentation Day as SSE Airtricity Moycullen go clear on top; Photos

There was a great crowd in Kingfisher to see SSE Airtricity Moycullen go top of the National League Saturday. The team now have a 4 & 1 record after beating C&S Blue Demons 91-60. This was an impressive team performance with Ronan O’Sullivan seeming to relish the challenge from Cork and leading with 19 points; Chris McNairney and Paul Freeman added 10 apiece. No time to rest on laurels though as in this competitive league (details HERE) the lads travel to Maree next weekend for what’s sure to be a tough encounter. This game is now at the earlier time of 5.00pm.

A big part of the crowd was made up of our underage teams who were presented to the crowd at half time. The club put a high value on the relationship between our underage and senior teams and many of the players who played on Saturday are involved in coaching a team. Thanks to all the parents and other volunteers that turned up to make it a memorable day.

Congrats to NUIG Mystics who got their first win of the season earlier in the day at Kingfisher.
