Congrats to both of our teams in this weekend’s All Ireland Club Championships. The Under 16 Girls won their competition beating a good Waterford Wildcats team by 11 (50-39).

Coming through double overtime against Templeogue in their brilliant semi-final win took a toll on the Under 14 Boys who went down to a much bigger Neptune team.

The teams got a very warm welcome at the Forge this evening on their return. The club and community are very proud of their success.

As part of the Galway Basketball community we also congratulate our arch opponents and friends from Maree who also took a Gold (U16 Boys) and Silver (U14 Girls) today. This shows the high standard of basketball in Galway at the moment.
