Great morning for our teams at the All Ireland Club Championships – The U16 Girls beat Ulster Elkes by 12 after a very competitive first half and the  U14 Boys went to double overtime before beating Templeogue by a single point. Both play in the All Ireland Final later today at 3.00pm. You can keep in touch with updates from the twitter network on the club twitter account or on the website.

Yesterday both teams won their two group games and made it to the All Ireland semi-finals.

The Under 14 Boys beat East Cavan Eagles 33-28 and Old Leighlin 79-32 and now face Templeogue in tomorrow’s semi-final.

The Under 16 Girls came through a very tough group with victories against Liffey Celtics (44-33) and then pulled away from Fr Matthews in a thriller (42-36). This gave them top place and a semi-final against Ulster Elkes tomorrow.

Well done to both teams and their coaches and followers. Tomorrow will be another interesting day.
