Moycullen’s success in having players selected for their International Squads continues with the announcement today that all 5 players who were in contention have made the final 12 players that will travel to European competitions this Summer.
In the Under 18 Boys Darragh Mulkerrins and Sean Candon, both developing Premier League players, have been selected to go to the Ukraine. Their group will include Bulgaria, Portugal, Denmark, Scotland and the hosts.
In the Under 16 Girls, Aine McDonagh and Catherine Connaire have also made the cut. This team will travel to Estonia where they will face Poland, Finland and Romania in the group stages.
In the Under 16 Boys Connor Curran was also selected. This team will face Hungary, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and the Netherlands. This tournament will take place in the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia.

Romy Cunningham and Mark Convery continue in the Under 15 Girls and Boys development squads. In addition, to Dylan Cunningham, who has been selected on the Premier League select committee this makes a total of EIGHT club players representing their country this Summer.
Congratulations to the players. This is a reward for all the hard work they’ve put in over the years. Well done to their families, coaches and schools that have supported them to reach this standard. This is also a great indication of the work put in throughout the club to help support young people play basketball.
