SSE Renewables Moycullen welcome current League Champions UL Eagles to the Kingfisher this Saturday for the first game of the New Year.
Both teams will be looking for a change in fortunes as UL Eagles have lost their last two games over the Christmas period, somewhat surprisingly against Templeogue on the Sunday before Christmas & against Killester last Saturday in a top of the table clash. While SSE Renewables Moycullen will be looking to bounce back from a tough road loss against the current league leaders last Sunday in Cork.
The two teams met in the first game of the year in Limerick and while UL Eagles came out on top on that occasion, it was a closely fought game with the final outcome in the melting pot well into the 4th quarter.
The team hasn’t had much of a break over the Christmas period due to game scheduling and they have been training hard in preparation for this game and for the second half of the season in general. The two teams always serve up a great game and hopefully this one will be no different, and the lads will be looking to inflict another defeat on the visitors. The game is in the Kingfisher gym on Saturday with a 6:30pm tip-off. We look forward to seeing our great supporters turn out in force and getting right behind the team.
