The Moycullen ladies basketball team has returned to the Galway league this year with a flying start winning all four opening games. The team has welcomed back a number of previous players along with new faces from Galway city and county. The senior Women’s league has proved to be competitive this season with a number of teams contesting the top spot. The ladies have won a number close fought games where all members of the squad contributed to the scoreline. The experience of Claregalway and the strength of Titans Ladies basketball however have proved difficult and the team have yet to get a win over either of these teams in the league despite close games.
