We are excited to announce Cispheil Céilí, a fun‑filled day of basketball and community spirit on Sunday, 8 February 2026 at the Killannin Sports Centre from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This is our biggest club event of the year, with games for every team, activities, raffles, bake sales, and more. It’s a celebration of everything that makes our club special: our players, volunteers, families, and supporters across Maigh Cuilinn and beyond.

Why Your Support Matters

Funds raised through Cispheil Céilí help us to:

• Purchase essential gear such as scoreboards, bibs, and basketball hoops.
• Cover hall hire fees for “extras” like the street league, skills sessions, and blitzes.
• Support team travel for games within Ireland.

Your contribution directly strengthens opportunities for all our players—across youth, women’s, and men’s sections—to train, compete, and thrive.

Sponsorship Page – How It Works

Each club member will receive a sponsorship page to collect donations. Please follow these simple steps:

1. Ask for sponsorship from friends, family, neighbours, and the wider community. Record each donor’s name and amount on the page.
2. Collect the funds and ensure the total matches what’s recorded.
3. Return the completed page and funds to your child’s team manager before the event.

Incentive: The team with the most sponsorship wins a choice of either:

• A pizza party at the National League game in February, or
• Nominating their coach for a compulsory ice bucket challenge!

What’s Happening on the Day

• Games for all teams: Every child will play and enjoy the action.
• National League and BIDL players: Select players will join in with the kids throughout the day.
• Coaches & Managers Shooting Competition: A fun highlight you won’t want to miss.
• Bake Sale & Raffle: Treats, prizes, and surprises.
• Swap Shop: Bring your pre‑loved basketball equipment/gear to our swap shop forum.
