Our club community came together for a fantastic Pizza Party and Season Launch at Wildlands, Maigh Cuilinn

With a brilliant turnout of players, parents, coaches, volunteers and supporters, it was the perfect way to tip off the new season.

We were delighted to host a panel discussion featuring coaching officer John Cunningham, who reflected on the senior men’s rise to National League status in 1996. John shared memories of the people and effort behind that breakthrough moment for the club.
We also heard from current women’s players Lily Hynes and Aoibhín Connolly, who spoke about the upcoming BIDL season. This year marks a proud milestone: the first time a senior women’s team from Maigh Cuilinn will compete in national league competition.

Evenings like this are only possible thanks to the tireless work of volunteers and the support of families, sponsors and the wider Maigh Cuilinn community.
