Congratulations to our U16 Girls team who earned a spot in Galway Cup and League finals by virtue of a fantastic season.

As they faced Maree in both finals, it was decided to put it all on the line in a single match to decide both cometitions.

The girls from Maigh Cuilinn put in a great performance they can be proud of but it was not to be enough on the day against a Maree side who in fairness have led the going all season.

Well done girls and we look forward to bright things in the future as this group begins the transition over the next couple of seasons from our underage club to perhaps the core of the senior women’s sections for many years to come.
