U18 Girls seek Shield Title

The U18 girls will play (probably) their last game in the Moycullen singlet this weekend in the Watershed in Kilkenny when they take the court against Tolka Rovers this Sunday morning. The girls have had great success throughout their underage years – winning the AICC titles at both U14 and U16 – and now aim to add the perfect bookend to their Moycullen careers by taking the National Shield. Coach Cunningham has stressed to the players that they need to bring their A games.
It has been a great nine years following this particular team and while some of the original team have opted for other sports and hobbies, I’m sure they will be with the team in spirit. Pictured below is the team that lined out in the Galway U12 League …
