Just a quick update that our Under 17 Boys have claimed the Billy Kelly Trophy in Cork today. This tournament is highly regarded and considered the unofficial All Ireland for the age group. The beat local rivals Maree 50-41 in the final. On their way there earlier today they had beaten Cork sides Neptune and Fr Matthews. The win was all the more impressive as they narrowly lost their first match to St Vincents before beating Ballincollig and Kilkenny in their group. Congrats to the lads. This all comes in a great week when our Under 18 Girls were so close as runners up in the National Shield and the SSE Airtricity Moycullen team took the National League.
