Under 9 Boys star in Kingfisher as SSE Airtricity Moycullen stay top

SSE Airtricity Moycullen continued their good league form with a comprehensive win against 3rd-place Eanna. Coach Salva Camps used his full bench as Moycullen led from the start to go on to win 70 – 48. Ronan O’Sullivan led the scoring with 18 followed by Paul Freeman on 10 and Dylan Cunningham on 9. Biggest cheer of the match was for Ian Burke when he SAM_4137produced a brilliant block on defence and went down the court to complete a strong drive to the basket. Another cheer went up when the 3 Cunninghams in the squad (Nollaig and his sons Dylan & Kyle) were on court at the same time.

The half time entertainment was provided by the clubs under 9 boys who showed some great skills under the guidance of coach Mike Hogan. The work being done by Mike & assistant coach Connor Curran will certainly give these boys the chance to be stars of the future.

Also at half-time the Under 20 National Cup Champions were presented to the crowd. Congrats again lads on a great win.
