3 in a row: Irish U 16 Girls win again

In a dominant performance today, where Moycullen’s Aine McDonagh led all scorers and Catherine Connaire chipped in with 10 points, Ireland’s Under 16 Girls qualified to play off for 9th and 11th place in the European Championships in Tallinn.

In 22 minutes court-time Catherine  posted 10 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 7 steals.  Aine played her biggest minutes (28 ) to date and posted 18 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals.

The team now play-off with Switzerland and Lithuania for the possibility of 9th place in the tournament.
