FIBA European Championships: You can follow our players

With a record number of Moycullen players representing Ireland at the European Championships this summer you can follow their progress on FIBA’s excellent website. The links below take you to to the site for the three tournaments involved; Under 18 Boys and Under 16 Boys and Girls. You can see the schedules, results and even follow matches play by play.

Under 18 Boys – Darragh Mulkerrins and Sean Candon will represent Ireland in Sofia, Bulgaria. Their first game is against Denmark on 24 July. The link to the Irish Team is HERE. You can navigate to other parts of the website from there.

Next up are the Under 16 Girls where we have Aine McDonagh and Catherine Connaire in Tallinn, Estonia. Their first game is against Poland on 31 July. The link to the Irish Team is HERE.

Conor Curran plays in the Under 16 Boys. They play their first game on 20 August against the Netherlands in Strumitsa, FYROM. The link to the Irish team is HERE

When the games are on there should be a link to” live scores” on right hand of screen.  Click on match you want to see.  Then  if you click on play by play at top of page that pops up. You get a running commentary (in text format).  Bear in mind that there will be time differences.
