It was all action at the Moycullen Girls 'Rising Stars' camp in the Kingfisher -NUIG Sports Centre in August 2009

   Basketball Camp at NUIG 2010
              Head Coach Puff Summers

Puff Summes has made an outstanding contribution to basketball in Moycullen and in Galway over the past season. A gifted point guard, he produced a number of exceptional scoring performances for the Super League team including a 48 point master class in the triple overtime win over Hoops in the Arena

As a coach he proved to be an excellent teacher and motivator. His work with Moycullen youth players in the special Drills for Skills sessions was excellent with his demonstrations of ball handling and dribbling a real source of inspiration. He did an exceptional job as head coach of the NUIG Men's Varsity Team, leading Galway college to the intervarsity title, their first since 1987

Puff played at Davidson, a Division One American College under the highly rated coach Bob McKillop. Puff will be sharing many of the basketball lessons he learned under coach McKillop with young local players in what promises to be a great camp at the fine facilities at NUIG

Four days of quality basketbaqll coasching in the fine facilitys at KingFisher NUIG. Inspirational coach Puff Summers will head up the camp which will concentrate on skill and quickness training in a fun environment with lleague games and competitions. A great way to finish off the summer holidays and get ready for the new season.
Camp is open to boys and Girls ages 10 to 16
